Jack Hammick - Apprentice Bricklayer

Jack Hammick - Apprentice Bricklayer

Jack left school with excellent grades and considered going to university. After considering the financial implications of this he explored the benefits of an apprenticeship and decided this was the career pathway he wished to pursue and was attracted to the benefits of learning a trade whilst earning a wage.

Jack was attracted to the Barratt Apprenticeship Programme because of the excellent career prospects and the support he would receive.

Jack was succesful with his application and began working for Barratt learning his trade on our Catford Green development in London. Once Jack has completed his Advanced Apprenticeship he would like to progress with his training through the Barratt Academy or our Sponsored Foundation Degree Programme to become an Assistant Site Manager, with the ambition of running his own site in the future.
