Barratt Developments have two divisional offices in the North West, Barratt Manchester and David Wilson Homes North West. Between them they provide a range of homes from 1 and 2 bedroomed apartments, to 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroomed houses, whether they are mews, semi-detached, town houses or large executive detached properties.

Going a little further afield, you can access many other major cities such as Birmingham, Leeds and London in around 2 hours by train. Both Manchester and Liverpool have a great social scene, with an endless list of bars and restaurants to choose from, perfect for socialising with friends after a busy day in the office! With some of the best shopping in the country, the Trafford Centre, Manchester Arndale and Liverpool One can provide all the shops you need. The region is bursting with arenas and theatres ensuring the North West regularly sees the big names in music and musicals fresh from the West End. For something a little more low key, there are some fantastic small venues where you can be the first to spot some of the North West’s rising talent. There are also several music festivals held in the region, from Parklife in Manchester to Creamfields in Cheshire.
The North West is home to some of the best football teams in Europe and many Premiership and Championship teams, and regularly sees local derby’s across the region, a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. There are also several racecourses, with the Grand National at Aintree Racecourse and regular events at Chester Racecourse. The North West also has some fantastic golf courses, with The Open often held in the region. If you’re looking to stretch your legs, the Lake District and the Peak District are easy to access from wherever you’re based in the region. Whether you prefer a good long hike or a canoe on the lake, there’s plenty to keep you busy and fit!
