Trainee Assistant Site Manager

At any given time, you’ll find us working on some circa 350 developments in both towns and rural areas across the UK, and every one poses unique challenges. Some are from scratch; others see us adapting existing buildings, like old factories or disused hospitals.

Once again we have achieved 5 star housebuilder status.  We are the only major national housebuilder to have been awarded the maximum 5 star rating for nine years in a row.  It's also the thirteenth year our Site Managers have won more NHBC "Pride in the Job" Awards than any other housebuilder; a testament to our dedication and commitment to building new homes of the very highest standard, providing the very best customer service.

Our Site Managers are responsible for ordering materials, managing big projects with large numbers of people, ensuring health and safety and delivering exceptional customer service.

Your job will be to help them do just that. We need people who can bring us fresh ideas and imagination on one hand, whilst learning about managing people, budgets and costs on the other.

You’ll be assisting the Site Manager in leading the development of the site through to completion; co-ordinating trades, directing labour and materials, whilst meeting a highly challenging schedule on time, within budget, with a focus on quality and customers.

By the time you’ve finished the programme, we hope you’ll be running a site of your own. By completing your Degree, you’ll be equipped with the most up-to-date information about modern methods of construction, sustainable building techniques as well as the people and management skills you need to grow professionally. So who knows how far you’ll go?
